Having turned down Nobunaga's request for his help with vanquishing the yakuma, Hideyoshi returns safely to his castle with Yuzuki at his side. Yuzuki's return after so long away brings much chear to the rest of the Toyotomi Army. However, yakuma begin to attack the castle again, threatening the newly rebuilt town and army that Hideyoshi and his people worked so hard for. Hideyoshi realizes he will need to come up with a way to protect both his people and Yuzuki, and it is then that Nobunaga's words about how to vanquish the yakuma come back to him.

半兵衛、官兵衛、利家たちも久々の結月の元気な姿に大いに盛り上がる。
だが、その秀吉の城にも厄魔が襲来し始めた。
今は利家たちの働きで防いでいるものの、このままでは復興した町が再び荒廃してしまう。
厄魔の襲来を目の当たりにした秀吉は、討伐に手を貸せという信長の言葉を思い出していた……。

Tras rechazar la petición de Nobunaga de que le ayudara a derrotar a los yakuma, Hideyoshi regresa sano y salvo a su castillo con Yuzuki a su lado. El regreso de Yuzuki después de tanto tiempo lejos alegra mucho al resto del ejército de Toyotomi. Sin embargo, los yakuma comienzan a atacar el castillo de nuevo, amenazando la ciudad y el ejército recién reconstruidos por los que Hideyoshi y su gente trabajaron tan duro. Hideyoshi se da cuenta de que tendrá que encontrar una forma de proteger tanto a su gente como a Yuzuki, y es entonces cuando las palabras de Nobunaga sobre cómo derrotar a los yakuma vuelven a él.
