In het Rijnstate ontmoet Jessica de psychotische Belal, die in ernstig verwarde toestand is binnengebracht. In zijn psychose is hij ervan overtuigd dat er mensen zijn die op hem schieten. Hij legt Jessica uit hoe angstig dat is.
Jessica Villerius speaks with Rachel, a young woman who was seriously injured when her neighbor stabbed her and her boyfriend, Jarell Reinders.
