The Fast and the Furious is an American franchise including a series of action films, which center on illegal illegal street racing and heists, and various other media portraying the characters and situations from the films.
While going undercover to discover the source of dirty money and a big-rig hijacking, a youthful Los Angeles cop seeks to infiltrate the world of illegal car racing gangs. Little does he know that it is a tight-knit culture run by Dominic "Dom" Toretto, who is not all that he appears to be.
Former cop Brian O'Conner is called upon to bust a dangerous criminal and he recruits the help of a former childhood friend and street racer who has a chance to redeem himself.
In Oro Valley, Arizona, high school students Sean Boswell (Lucas Black) and Clay (Zachery Ty Bryan) race their cars to win the affections of Clay's girlfriend Cindy (Nikki Griffin), driving their respective vehicles, a Chevrolet Monte Carlo and a Dodge Viper. When Sean cuts through a structure and catches up to Clay, Clay hits Sean's car repeatedly until they reach a high-speed turn, which causes both cars to crash; Sean's car is totaled. Clay and Cindy's wealthy families help them escape punishment, but because Sean is a repeat offender for street racing, he is sent to live in Tokyo, Japan with his father (Brian Goodman), a U.S. Navy officer, in order to avoid juvenile detention or jail.
This is a short film which is a prequel to Fast and Furious involving the fugitive ex-convict Dom assembling his crew in the Dominican Republic to plan a hijacking of a road train gasoline tanker truck.
Five years after escaping from the US, Dom returns to Los Angeles to avenge the death of a loved one. His thirst for revenge reignites his old feud with agent Brian O'Conner, but at the pair lead each other on a cast and mouse chase through the streets of LA they test their trust and loyalties to one another by teaming up, to bring down a shared enemy.
When Dom is transported to a Federal Correctional Institution, Mia and Brian free him and the trio escapes to Rio de Janeiro with the authorities right on their heels. The fugitives try to lie low, but a U.S. strike force led by the country's toughest agent, forces them to pull off one of the hardest heist's the crew has ever faced in order to gain their freedom.
Following their successful heist in Brazil, the crew is scattered across the globe enjoying their lives, but when one of them if targeted, they all come together in order to evade capture. They're offered pardons if they are able to help stop a dangerous criminal enterprise, just as a mysterious figure from the past resurfaces.
After defeating Owen Shaw and securing amnesty for their past crimes, Dominic Toretto, Brian O'Conner and the rest of their team return to the U.S. where Dom tries to help Letty regain her memory. But, Owen's older brother, Deckard Shaw is only after revenge and he puts Dom and the crew right in his crosshairs.
While on their honeymoon, Dominic Toretto and Letty Ortiz get word that Dom's cousin Fernando owes money to local racer Raldo. Sensing that Raldo is a loan shark, Dom challenges him to a race, thus pulling Dom back into the dangerous world of crime he can’t seem to escape and into a betrayal from those closest to him. His peril summons the crew, who will face challenges that they've never had to deal with before.

Cypher enlists the help of Jakob, Dom's younger brother to take revenge on Dom and his team.
