Debonair French actor Jean-Pierre Aumont (born Jean-Pierre Philippe Salomons) began his film career with Jean de la Lune (1931) and his career took off in1934 with Lac aux Dames, and he starred opposite Ginger Rogers in Heartbeat (1946). He continued to work through the 1990s, appearing in Jefferson In Paris (1995) and in The Proprietor (1996),
