After Rose double books the main road in town, she finds herself caught between rival parades. Gale finds a solution to her long-distance relationship with Dean by proposing the idea of Dean moving out to sea (Lake Winnipeg) with her and living on a boat that sells groceries.
Paul decides to enter a survival-based reality TV competition show called The Deadliest Native to win Rose back and prove he can be the best version of himself. Meanwhile, Cousin Leon, Chickadee, Stephen Harper and Gramps McKay join the show and vie for the title of The Deadliest Native.

His family needs a piece of the old Paul back to help the Bitterns beat the Butterns in the annual Trapper Games. Cousin Leon returns to Grouse Lake with his eleven kids with the hopes of turning Yeah Man into a family business, but his plan is threatened when Peewee, his old partner in crime from his Winnipeg days, returns and wants Cousin Leon to pay up. Andre informs Roger that he was offered his dream job of leading a hydro project on another Reserve far away from Grouse Lake.
